Home to the famous Bakewell tart and pudding, Bakewell is an historic market town at the heart of the Peak District National Park. Its mellow stone buildings, medieval arched bridge and little courtyards combine to create an atmosphere of great charm, with pleasant gardens and riverside walks all adding to the scene.
