Buxton Visitor Centre at the Pump Room
Covid 19 update
Physical distancing measures.
We have increased signage, installed screens, cleared away furniture, introduced a one-way system and limited capacity.
Cleaning and sanitising.
We have introduced stringent cleaning measures and ask visitors to sanitise their hands on arrival.
Staff Health Checks.
All staff will be asked for an update on their health on arrival and will stay at home if displaying any COVID-19 symptons.
Following government guidance, where possible face coverings must be used while inside our venues.
We ask customers to make purchases with card payments (ideally contactless if you have it) as much as possible.
The Buxton Visitor Centre at the Pump Room is located in the heart of Buxton, Derbyshire, adjacent to St Ann’s Well and directly opposite the magnificent, recently restored, 18th century, iconic Crescent building.
In addition to a wide range of walking guides and maps, we offer a carefully selected range of gorgeous gifts, souvenirs, products from local suppliers, stationery and cards by local artists inspired by the Crescent and Buxton’s spa heritage.
