What's ShopAppy's Favourite Family Business campaign all about?
It's been a tough couple of years for local businesses and we think making sure local businesses know how much we all appreciate them is even more important than ever. This campaign encourages local communities to show their appreciation by nominating their most loved family-run businesses and will run from Mother's Day, 19th March 2023 - Father's Day, 18th June 2023. The winner will be announced on 22nd June 2023 and they will receive ShopAppy’s Favorite Family Business award.
When you spend with a local business, almost 40p of what you spend in every pound stays in your local community, so let’s make that spend count!* Often that business is a family, so your spend is helping another family in your area - whether it's paying for a dance class or putting food on their table, it means your spend really counts. We know that with increasing costs, it’s becoming more difficult for businesses to stay on our high streets and many of them are family businesses that have worked in your communities for years, decades and even centuries. We would like to boost their morale, and share your comments with them anonymously. We also want to use what you say about these businesses to ensure our policy leaders understand the value of family businesses in communities up and down the UK.
After the closing date, one lucky nominator will receive a £50 voucher to spend on ShopAppy.com or ShopLocalOnline.org and one nominated business will be chosen as the UK's Favourite Family Business and receive an award from ShopAppy.
