Large Scotland clock
This ticking clock depicts the Scottish mainland and our islands off the west coast, I haven’t included Orkney or Shetland as it would have detracted from the symmetry of the shape, not because I’d forgotten about them. I chose to add the Viking longboat and the Celtic knot to reflect our heritage as a nation. The trawler represents the long standing East coast fishing industry. Whales have made much welcomed appearances in the Firth of Forth over the past few years. Sea Eagles were re introduced to Scotland earlier this century, mostly on the West coast (as far as I’m aware). The Kraken and sailing ship represents the monster that dwells in the depths of Beauford’s Dyke.
