Suffragette diamond mixed yarns framed art

Inspiration:
Walking with my dogs early one morning I was struck by the colours in a local garden. A beautiful dark purple bell flower with a dark green stem and leaf appeared even more prominent as it was growing in front of a bright, almost acid green, bush with tiny white flowers. When putting my warp together it was the purple and green combination that came to the fore. The design itself was inspired by a trip to the Modern Art Museum in Copenhagen, where there were a number of large pieces that included unwoven warp as part of the weave pattern.
