Red kidney beans - 100g

Rehydrate overnight or use the quick soak method - pour boiling water over and leave for 90 mins before use.

Use 200g dried beans to make equivalent of a 400g can.

Kidney beans must be fast boiled for 10 minutes or simmered for 45 minutes. Slow cookers should not be used for kidney beans unless they have been boiled first.
