Your Local Shops Surbiton
Located just south of Kingston Town Centre, Surbiton is home to around 25% of the Borough’s residents and was where the famous ‘70s comedy sitcom ‘The Good Life’ was claimed to have been set. The town centre benefits from an iconic Grade II listed railway station, which featured in the film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and from which residents and visitors can catch fast trains into London.
Surbiton provides a strong and eclectic mix of independent and well-known businesses, including art and crafts, homeware, book and gift shops, as well as flower stalls and delicatessens. The core offer around Victoria Road is complemented by Brighton Road and the leafy Maple Road, which provide a quality dining offer, with bars and cafes that draw people in from across the wider area.
