Botham's of Whitby
Elizabeth Botham set up her bakery in the ancient fishing port of Whitby over 150 years ago. She began by selling her bread and cakes from a basket at the local market and eventually bought the premises on Skinner Street. Botham's traditions are now proudly continued by the fifth generation of her family.
Here on Skinner Street we have our craft bakery, shop and 'Botham's of Upstairs' Tea Room. Come and join us for Afternoon Tea, a pork pie lunch, ploughman's platter, homemade soup of the day or a light bite, and not to mention our amazing selection of Botham's cakes and desserts all made here in our bakehouse! We also have an excellent, wide range of teas and hot beverages, cold refreshments, as well as scones a plenty and our famous tea breads.
A visit to Botham's is a must during a visit to Whitby!
