Here's a little more about the city....
Wolverhampton is a vibrant city, known for its rich cultural diversity. It is located at the very heart of the West Midlands and has a fantastic collection of major stores, two shopping centres and a fantastic range of independent businesses providing services and products for every taste and budget. Its also a centre that is thriving with art and entertainment - and its main gallery hosts the finest collection of Pop Art in Europe! The city centre offers an attractive place for visitors, residents and businesses alike.
Here are out three top picks for your next real or virtual visit but there are plenty more places to discover online...!
For those who love crafts, you can discover a tardis of a shop jammed full of crafty delights for knitters, stitchers, quilters and creators. A must visit for those in the arts and crafts community, for makers and creatives head to Wulfrun Wools and Crafts
If you like to step back into better times, another place to while away some time is Vintage and Vinyl... Claire has been selling Records and Music Memorabilia for some 30 years, having had a record shop at the age of 23 and then exhibiting at Record Fairs across the UK and Europe and even in the USA. Seven years ago she decided to put down roots in Wolverhampton. For 2 years in the Market and then now on Cleveland Street, where she is celebrating her 8th Year. The Shop has expanded and now offers a full range of music for all tastes and all budgets.
After all the mooching around you can carry on with the vintage theme by stopping off at Wolverhampton's vintage tea room K's Teas Cakes - afternoon tea is exquisite and reasonably priced at £15, or you can replace your tea with Prosecco. Don't mind if we do. Cheers.
Now remember - you could win £100 to spend in these and more of the local shops in these areas, just enter our FREE prize draw by clicking on the button below! Good luck ;-)
