Our largest town centre enjoys an enviable riverside location, opposite from Hampton Court Palace’s Home Park. Its incredibly diverse retail, leisure and dining offer combines big names and independent businesses, helping to draw visitors from across the region, aided by its excellent transport links. The town benefits from a large student population, thanks to its two large educational institutions; Kingston College and Kingston University. Kingston Town Centre has a strong arts scene and a rich heritage and cultural offer. The Rose Theatre, located at the heart of the town centre, is a much-loved part of the community, and has hosted an impressive line-up of events and big-name performers. Other key features include the Grade II* listed Market House (in the Ancient Market Square) and the Coronation Stone, located outside the Guildhall.
